Welcome to Trademark Licensing

Throughout the years, traditions and spirit shared by the UNCG community have increased the demand for products that feature our University’s trademarks. To meet this demand, UNCG created a Trademark Licensing Program to establish a foundation for promoting and protecting the use of its trademarks.

Through our trademark licensing program, the University maintains control over its logos and marks, thus ensuring the quality and consistency of all UNCG merchandise. It also enables the University to generate revenue from the sale of merchandise bearing UNCG logos and marks. The revenue generated is used to fund academic scholarships for UNCG students. Outside of the University, the trademark licensing program creates a cooperative and positive working relationship with the manufacturers and retailers who work with the University.
