About UNCG Trademark Licensing

UNCG’s Trademark Licensing Program establishes a foundation for promoting and protecting the use of its trademarks.

The Trademark Licensing Program maintains control over UNCG’s logos and marks, thus ensuring the quality and consistency of all UNCG merchandise. It also enables the University to generate revenue from the sale of merchandise bearing UNCG logos and marks. This revenue is used to fund academic scholarships for UNCG students. In addition, the Trademark Licensing Program creates a cooperative and positive working relationship with the manufacturers and retailers who work with the University.
